Wargaming, heeft vandaag bekendgemaakt dat World of Tanks geselecteerd is als een officiële discipline bij de World Cyber Games 2013 die plaatsvindt van 28 November tot 1 December in Kunshan China.
“Watching World of Tanks take the world of eSports by storm has been truly amazing,” zei Global eSports Director bij Wargaming Jonghyuk Baak. “Being selected as an official discipline of this year’s World Cyber Games is truly a testament not only to the popularity of World of Tanks around the world, but also to a clear sign of its continued success in competitive gaming.”
Het prijzengeld voor de top drie zullen 35,000, 21.000 en 7.000 dollar gaan bedragen. In totaal zullen 16 nationale teams meedoen in de grote finale die live gestreamd wordt.
