Er is een nieuwe app verschenen voor Mac OSX en Windows. Het gaat om een applicatie waarmee je een PC kunt omtoveren tot server voor de Wii U. Hierdoor kun je media streamen naar je Wii U console. Het gaat hierbij om video’s van het formaat MP4 die naar de console gestuurd kunnen worden.
Current Features
• Play your mp4 videos on the WiiU.
• Sorts videos of the form Show.Name.S01E01… together into shows with different sections for each season
• Every episode has its own Thumbnail
• Videos downloaded in the last 2 days have a ‘new’ tag
Future Features
• Support for Transcoding (turning videos that aren’t playable on the WiiU into videos that are)
• Improved GUI, the current one is quite…lacking. (Also options like port config, file names ect)
