Deze morgen heeft Sony aangekondigd dat de prijs van de PlayStation 2 officieel omlaag zal gaan in Amerika. Op 27 april namelijk gaat de prijs naar 129.99 dollar. Of ook Europa van deze prijsverlaging mag genieten is voorlopig onbekend. Sony president en tevens CEO Kaz Hirai hoopt hiermee dat nog meer casual gamers kunnen genieten van hetgeen dat de current-gen console te bieden heeft.
