Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) en Double Fine Productions, Inc. hebben vandaag de volledige soundtrack bekendgemaakt van Brütal Legend, de actiegame van Tim Schafer, met Jack Black in de rol van roadie Eddie Riggs. Met een indrukwekkende lijst van ruim 100 metal-tracks die je bloed doen koken, geeft Brütal Legend de legendarische hardrock-goden een ereplek in dit unieke ‘3rd person’ actieavontuur. Met in totaal 75 wereldberoemde bands, zoals Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Megadeth en Motörhead, laat Brütal Legend elke gamer headbangen. De game komt op 15 oktober uit in Europa.
Brütal Legend is een epische actiegame van game-visionair Tim Schafer. Jack Black speelt de rol van Eddie Riggs, een legendarische roadie die wordt opgeroepen in een duistere Heavy Metal-wereld; waar bergen zijn gemaakt van versterkers, dodelijke spinnen messcherpe gitaarsnaren spinnen en rocklegendes over verdorde vlaktes ronddwalen. Kruip in de huid van Eddie en verpletter schedels met je strijdbijl, raas over wegen in je opgevoerde race-monster en gebruik de bruutste rock-krachten om je vijanden te vermorzelen; alles om de mensheid te redden en uit te groeien tot een Brütal Legend.
“We zijn al jaren bezig met het samenstellen van deze soundtrack. We wilden de beste nummers van elk Metal-genre gebruiken en elk episch game-moment begeleiden met de perfecte muziek”, zegt Tim Schafer, president van Double Fine Productions. “Metal-fans zullen deze soundtrack fantastisch vinden! Als je geen fan bent, zul je er een worden of met je hoofd tegen de muur bonken… of allebei.”
