Zo zal de console wireless LAN-ondersteuning krijgen en geen Ethernet LAN-poort. Een LAN-accessoire is dan ook nodig om bedraad de console aan te kunnen sluiten. Als je daarnaast de interne batterij wilt vervangen, dan zul je de customer support moeten bellen. Tegen betaling zal Nintendo de batterij dan vervangen.
