Epic Games heeft laten weten dat de Unreal 3 engine niet alleen geschikt zal zijn voor het produceren van PC games, Epic heeft namelijk rechten verkocht voor het maken van games die gebruik maken van de engine voor de PlayStation 3.

In addition Unreal Engine 3 should be an excellent fit for the platform and our licensees will benefit immensely from the experience we have been able to gain thus far working with it.”
