Baldur’s Gate 3 heeft geen release meer in 2024 voor de Xbox. Dat heeft de ontwikkelaar bekend gemaakt via Twitter. Larian’s director van publishing heeft gezegd dat de game wat technische uitdagingen kent op het Xbox-platform. Details daarover zijn niet echt bekend maar het spel moet rond het volgende jaar verschijnen. Later dit jaar zal meer onthuld worden.
Far from being exclusive, we have no exclusivity deal that prevents us from launching on Xbox. The issue is a technical hurdle. We cannot remove the split-screen feature because we are obliged to launch with feature parity, and so continue to try and make it work.
