Sony is op dit moment bezig om tenminste 7 games beschikbaar te stellen voor de PlayStation Portable via de PlayStation Store. Een onbekende Sony-bron zou vermeld hebben dat het gaat om 3 action games, 2 op muziek gebaseerde titels, ‘n racing game en één shooter. De PlayStation Store zal volgend jaar gaan verschijnen voor de PlayStation Portable. Daarnaast zal ook een PC-Store nog beschikbaar gesteld worden waar je allerlei software kunt downloaden. Sony will offer multiple content to PSP users via the PlayStation Store, including original games, classic PSone titles, demos for UMD-based and downloadable games, additional content for released games and TV content such as trailers, behind-the-scenes clips and interviews.
