Midway heeft nog het een en ander in petto als het gaat om de Nintendo Wii. Op de website van Gamasutra vinden we namelijk informatie rondom de toekomstige plannen van het concern. Zo zouden er opvallend genoeg 2 nieuwe, nog niet aangekondigde Nintendo Wii-titels in de planning staan. Het is echter nog niet bekend waar het hier precies om zal gaan en de games zouden dan ook spoedig aangekondigd gaan worden voor het Nintendo platform. Het concern heeft momenteel nog de nodige titels klaar staan voor de toekomst. Zo staan Stranglehold, BlackSite: Area 51, Unreal Tournament III, The Lord of the Rings Online en The Wheelman nog te wachten.
In a call with investors, when asked if the company planned to shift resources to the Wii in the light of recent sales, Midway officials also noted that the publisher had been “bullish” on the Wii since the launch of the console, but that the company had undertaken a “small shift to look more significantly at the Wii going forward,” including two yet unannounced titles for the second half of 2007.
