Slecht nieuws voor de fans van een eventuele Killer 7 game voor de Nintendo Wii. Capcom heeft namelijk bevestigd dat men geen Killer 7 titel naar de Wii zal gaan brengen. Het logo van de Wii werd gespot op K7’s profiel op de website, maar Capcom heeft duidelijk gemaakt dat het hier gaat om een typo die iemand zelf gemaakt zou hebben. Capcom heeft zich verontschuldigd voor de verwarring die hierdoor veroorzaakt werd.
Despite a listing on the European Capcom website, Killer 7 is not heading to the Wii. Yesterday it was spotted that Killer 7 was listed under Wii and had a Wii logo on its profile on the website, but according to Capcom, “The Wii symbol was due to testing on our test realm somehow making its way across to the actual site”. Capcom has also apologised to existing fans by saying, “We are sorry to disappoint Killer 7 fans who thought this meant a Wii version might be on the horizon, but we can confirm that there are currently no plans for a Killer 7 version for the Wii platform”. We’re happy to remind people that the Gamecube version is of course fully compatible with the Wii.
