Rondom de release van de film Superman Returns (met o.a Brandon Routh als Superman) staat tevens de release van een game over deze superheld gepland. EA en Warner Bros. willen de game in juni volgend jaar op de markt brengen. De verhaallijn is gebaseerd op de strips én de film. EA Tiburon, de studio die onder andere Madden NFL ontwikkelde, werkt aan de game voor de Xbox360 en een aantal huidige platforms. De hoge heren bij EA hadden het volgende over de game en hun capaciteiten te melden:
