Het was al duidelijk dat de PlayStation 3 editie van Stranglehold wat later zou gaan komen maar Midway heeft nu officieel bekend gemaakt dat de titel GOLD is gegaan en klaar is voor productie. Het spel zou nu op 29 oktober in Amerika gelanceerd worden voor de PS3. De Xbox 360- en PC-versie van de game zijn al een tijdje beschikbaar in Europa en Amerika.
Midway Games today announced that Stranglehold has gone to gold master for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. Developed by the team behind the critically acclaimed Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, Stranglehold is currently scheduled to ship in North America on October 29th for the PlayStation 3. PlayStation 3 owners can get a taste of the cinematic action shooter by downloading the Stranglehold demo via the PlayStation Store. Stranglehold is available now for the Xbox 360 video game system and PC.
