Parental control (Xbox 360) werkt ook met oudere Xbox games

Het was een heel gegis rondom het feit dat de Xbox 360 over parental control beschikt. Werkt het nu ook op Xbox games of alleen op nieuwe Xbox 360 games? Er werd heel wat gespeculeerd maar nu blijkt dat het wel zou gaan werken. Microsoft heeft dit onlangs weten te bevestigen in het volgende bericht:

“Because original Xbox games do not include the same encoded data as Xbox 360 games, so the Xbox 360 will not be able to read ESRB ratings from original Xbox games. A software release to enable the reading of the ratings of original Xbox games will be availablea [sic] few months after the launch of Xbox 360.”
