Op de website van Nyko vinden we een geheel nieuwe manier om de Xbox 360 te koelen. Het gaat hier om de Nyko Intercooler welke voor zo’n 20 dollar de deur uit zal gaan bij retailers als GameStop. De triple-fan solution wordt aan de achterkant van de Xbox 360 bevestigt en zorgt voor een beter luchtstroming in de kast. De apparatuur bezit geen lastige switches en plugs dus daar hoef je je voorlopig geen zorgen over te maken. De verschillen komen neer op zo’n 10% lagere temperaturen. Handig is het feit dat er geen extra (AC) voeding nodig is, de stroom komt namelijk rechtstreeks van de Xbox 360 zelf af.
