Fahrenheit heeft in Europa een wel zeer welvarende start gekent. Ontwikkelaar Quantic Dream en Atari hebben dit samen met trots bekend gemaakt. De reviews zijn erg positief maar ook de verkoopcijfers schieten in een razend tempo omhoog. Tot nu toe een groot succes dus. In Amerika bleek de game in iets minder goede handen te vallen, daar werd al snel geconcludeerd dat het spel gecensureerd moest worden. De verkoopcijfers zijn ook daar echter ook erg hoog te noemen.
