Het is bevestigd dat Battlefield 2042 enkele ‘old favorites’ maps zal krijgen. Via de Purexbox lezen we dat general manager van Ripple Effect Studios, Christian Grass, zegt dat er gewerkt wordt aan de maps. Welke dit precies zijn is niet bekend. Het onthullen van de maps zal in een later stadium gaan gebeuren volgens de woordvoerder.
“So I can’t say that much about it, but what I can is this though is one of the components of this experience that we’re creating is that we’re adding some of the fan favourite maps back into Battlefield 2042, but the entire experience you’ll have to wait a little bit longer before we reveal what that is.”
